Unfortunately, it can sometimes happen that something goes wrong, for example when an order is damaged during transport. Of course we want to solve this neatly for you! Call or email us and let us know what you are not satisfied with.

Return Policy

Your order will only be put into production and tailor-made especially for you. For this reason, the right of withdrawal expires.

This means that you cannot return your order. Each individual work in the Frans Hals Museum collection can be ordered in various materials and each material has dozens of sizes, which is why everything is custom made.

Giclées are reproductions of original paintings, drawings or photos that are printed on, for example, photo paper, watercolor paper or canvas with special inkjet printers that spray pigment inks onto the material.

The term giclée comes from the French word “gicler”, which means to spray. This type of reproduction is the new standard in the art and photo world and is widely appreciated by major museums, galleries, painters and photographers because of its excellent quality.

The giclées of the works of the Frans Hals Museum are printed with 12-colour UV-resistant pigment inks on acid-free canvas or watercolor paper and therefore have extra fine detailing and beautiful deep colours.
